Croatian riders at Tour of Croatia

Published: 01.04.2016.

Like in every other sport, it is a special delight having the home court advantage. This year on Tour of Croatia, eight riders will have the pleasure of riding through their home land.  Most Croatian riders come from the only professional domestic team, Meridiana Kamen (UCI Continental Team). Radoslav Rogina (Adria Mobil, UCI Continental Team) gives us a lot to cheer for, since he’s been our contender in the 2004 Giro d’Italia and Summer Olympics in 2008 and 2014. One of the youngest riders of the Tour is David Jabuka (Meridiana Kamen Team, UCI Continenta Team). David is the best junior rider of Croatia in 2015, awarded by the Croatian Cycling Federation.

We will also have the joy of following Emanuel Kišerlovski (Meridiana Kamen Team, UCI Continental Team), a Croatian National road champion, Mateo Franković (Meridiana Kamen Team, UCI Continental Team), Paolo Rigo (Meridiana Kamen Team, UCI Continental Team), Bruno Maltar (Radenska – Ljubljana, UCI Continental Team), Matija Kvasina (Synergy Baku Cycing Project, UCI Continental Team) and Josip Rumac (Synergy Baku Cycing Project, UCI Continental Team).
