Tour of Croatia is one of the most significant sporting events in Croatia in 2016 which is acknowledged by many well regarded cycling teams and worldwide media which are about to transfer the image of Croatia to six continents. No less surprising is the support of institutional partners and sponsors. Tour of Croatia enjoys the official sponsorship from the President, the Government of Croatia, the Ministry of Tourism, the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Ministry of Environmental and Nature Protection, Parks of Croatia, the City of Zagreb, as well as many other cities and counties which are designated as hosts of the stage’s start and the finish or cities along the six stages. Non institutional sponsors are HEP, Porsche Inter Auto, Vipnet, Jana, Jamnica Pro Sport, Croy, Uniline, Sonz, Puhelek/Purek Wines and the Croatian National Television (HRT) and Sportske Novosti as media partners.
The promoter of the Tour is the Top Sport Events agency, presented by Vladimir MIholjević - directeur sportif, technical director and Ivan Črnjarić – event and marketing director. Much like other renowned stage bicycle races, the agency organized a formal presentation of the teams and the stages for the press and the media. This was a great opportunity for the partners of the race to express their thoughts for the Tour of Croatia: Anton Kliman – Minister of Tourism, Slaven Dobrović – Minister of Environmental and Nature Protection, Milan Bandić – Mayor of Zagreb, Ratomir Ivičić – Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board and Victoria Davies – Vice President and Country Manager for Discovery and Eurosport CEE.
